Medication Management Part 2 - Review Day

Medication Management Part I is through an online learning portal. Scheduling in-person class days occurs when a student finishes their online learning modules. This event is a reminder for those enrolled in the online learning. 

Medication Management Review Day (Part II): The first in-person day of training begins with reviewing the online learning modules with practice warm up exercises in medication management. Students practice administering medications and keeping appropriate records, under the supervision of our facility trainer. This day gives the opportunity for students to ask questions and get help from our course instructor. Students will also cover training on the diabetes module with covers basic facts about diabetes, treatment and management options, as well as monitoring for high and low blood sugar. Students will learn how to perform a finger stick blood glucose test, and how to draw up and inject insulin.

Class size is limited; to ensure space is available, please sign up early.  Participants should arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the session with photo identification. Please bring a picture ID.

Any cancellations should be made at least 48 hours prior to the first day of class.
